First Contact

I drew this as a birthday present for my brother, whose birthday happens to be on the same day as First Contact Day (April 5) in Star Trek. We're both Star Trek fans, and I decided I wanted to actually give him an awesome present this year. And drawing Star Trekky pictures is fun.

This is the moment from the film Star Trek: First Contact when the Vulcans land and Zefram Cochrane greets them. I debated adding the background and decided it wasn't worth the time. Finished the day before First Contact Day, because I was trying to get it to my brother as close to his birthday as possible. Reference picture is here: [link]
